FAQ's
Got a question? You might just find the answer below!
From wondering how Adventure Club works to individual walks and pop-ins, I've answered some of my most commonly asked questions.
That being said, every dog is different - so if you can't find the answer to the question you have please just get in touch! I'm always happy to chat!
Q: What is Adventure Club?
A: Wild Paws Adventure Club is much more than a traditional dog walk. Your dog is collected from home and taken out for an adventure with a small, carefully selected group of dogs.
There's plenty of opportunity to run, sniff, explore, play and enjoy enrichment before I drop them back home again - usually ready for a very well-earned snooze!
Dogs are typically out of the house for around 3 hours, including collection, travel and drop-off.
Q: How much does Adventure Club cost?
A: Adventure Club costs £24 per dog, including collection from home, transport, their adventure and drop-off afterwards.
Spaces are deliberately limited and dates are released regularly.
Q: How do you choose which dogs go together?
A: Groups aren't filled on a first-come, first-served basis. I carefully consider each dog's personality, confidence, energy levels and play style to create groups I think will genuinely enjoy spending time together.
Before joining Adventure Club, new dogs are asked to complete a short suitability form so I can get to know them a little better.
Q: Do you do regular dog walking?
A: Yes. I offer individual dog walks for dogs who benefit from dedicated one-to-one time rather than a traditional group walk.
Walks are tailored to your dog's personality, pace and needs, with plenty of opportunity for sniffing and exploring along the way.
Q: What are pop-ins for?
A: Pop-Ins are ideal for puppies, older dogs or dogs who simply need some company and care while you're away from home.
Depending on your dog's needs, a visit can include toilet breaks, feeding, fresh water, play, enrichment, cuddles and basic puppy training or routine reinforcement.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: The Puppy Guru is based in Whitworth, Rossendale and covers Whitworth and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether I cover your postcode, just send me an enquiry and I'll let you know.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Absolutely. The Puppy Guru is fully insured and I am also DBS checked and canine first-aid trained.
Q: Can I meet you before booking?
A: Absolutely. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your dog. Depending on the service you're interested in, we can arrange an initial chat or meet-and-greet before getting started.
Q: How do I book?
A: The easiest way to get started is through the Enquiry page. Tell me a little about you, your dog and the service you're interested in and I'll get back to you to discuss the next steps.
